Founded in 2020, Syl’a’Vie is a female-led independent brand based in London. Every garment is carefully handmade in our London studio by our small in-house team, with close attention paid to the fit, finish and detail of each individual piece.

Our collections are designed to feel special, whether you are choosing one of our custom-printed swimwear designs or a garment made for unforgettable summer evenings and occasions.

Handmade to Order

All Syl’a’Vie pieces are handmade to order, meaning we begin creating your garment after your order has been placed.

Rather than producing large quantities of stock in advance, we take a slower and more thoughtful approach to production. This allows us to minimise fabric waste, avoid unnecessary dead stock and focus on making each piece with the care and attention it deserves.

Your order is not mass produced or selected from a warehouse. Each piece moves individually through our studio, from cutting and sewing through to finishing, quality checking and careful packaging before it is sent to you.

This way of working is incredibly important to us. It allows us to create more consciously while ensuring that every Syl’a’Vie piece feels considered, personal and beautifully made.

Designed In-House

What truly sets Syl’a’Vie apart is our custom-printed swimwear fabrics, designed in-house by our team.

Each print is created especially for our collections, giving our swimwear its distinctive Syl’a’Vie identity. From the initial design idea through to the final handmade piece, we love creating garments that feel unique and memorable.

Our aim is to design pieces that you will reach for season after season, made to make you feel confident every time you wear them.

Conscious Packaging and Production

Our made to order model is at the heart of our approach to more conscious fashion. By only producing pieces once they have been ordered, we are able to reduce excess stock and avoid the unnecessary waste often created by mass production.

We also carefully choose high-quality, eco-friendly packaging for our orders and prioritise sourcing within the UK wherever possible, supporting local industries while keeping our production close to home.

For us, sustainability is about making thoughtful choices throughout the process, from the way our garments are produced to the way they are packaged and delivered to you.

Production Time

Because each piece is made especially for you, our standard production time is up to 10 working days before your order is dispatched.

This timeframe allows our team to make, finish and quality check your order properly before it leaves our studio.

Once your order has been completed and dispatched, you will receive your tracking information by email.

We truly appreciate your patience while your piece is being made. Choosing handmade to order means supporting a slower, more considered way of creating clothing, and we promise your order is worth the wait.

Need Your Order by a Certain Date?

Where possible, we may be able to offer a priority production service for orders needed by a specific date.

Priority production must be requested before / after placing your order and approved by our team, as availability depends on our studio workload at the time.

Please note that priority production speeds up the making of your order only. Delivery timeframes remain dependent on your chosen courier service and location, so we are unable to guarantee delivery dates unless this has been agreed with us in advance.
